The official PNG Digital Arrival Card (PNGDAC) supports group submission for families, tour groups and authorised travel coordinators. A single submission can include up to 10 passengers, but every traveller—including infants and children—must still have their own personal declaration details included.

How to prepare a group PNGDAC submission
Gather the whole group's details first
PNGDAC does not save an unfinished submission for later, so prepare all passports, travel details and accommodation information before starting.
Choose Group Submission
ICA's official how-to page confirms that website submission is available through both Individual Submission and Group Submission.
Enter the common journey details
Have the inbound flight number, arrival date, PNG address and travel purpose ready for the group.
Add each passenger accurately
Enter the passport information for each traveller carefully. Check names and passport numbers directly against the physical travel documents before proceeding.
Complete declarations truthfully
PNGDAC requests health information plus goods and prohibited-items declarations. Answer according to what each traveller is actually carrying and their own circumstances.
Submit and retain the confirmation
ICA recommends downloading the PNGDAC confirmation or retaining the emailed copy on a phone or other device. Printing is optional as a backup.

For a group larger than 10 people, divide travellers into multiple submissions and keep a simple internal roster showing which passengers belong to which batch.
Corrections and updates
Most details can be amended—but four identity fields cannot
Travel details can be corrected
ICA's Update PNGDAC function can be used for changes such as flight details, travel dates, accommodation or other editable information.
Core identity fields are locked
The official FAQ says you cannot update Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality or Date of Birth through the update function.
Submit again if a locked field is wrong
If a locked identity field contains an error, submit a new PNGDAC with the correct information. ICA states that the most recent valid submission is used.
Confirmation
Keep proof accessible, but printing is not mandatory
Digital copy
ICA recommends downloading the PNGDAC confirmation or keeping the emailed confirmation available on a device.
Printed backup
Printing is optional, but ICA says it is a good backup if a traveller will not have a device available.
No need to invent a QR-code rule
The current public FAQ does not require VisaPNG to promise a separate QR code for every passenger. Follow whatever confirmation format the live portal generates at submission time.
Submission window
Use the official 72-hour arrival window
The current PNGDAC FAQ says the card should be submitted within 72 hours before arriving in Papua New Guinea, including the date of arrival.
Separately, ICSA's 6 August 2026 airline directive says travellers must complete PNGDAC before boarding-pass issuance. For practical planning, submit it within the 72-hour arrival window and before airport check-in.
Common group mistakes
Problems that are easy to avoid
Typing one passport incorrectly
Passport number cannot be corrected through the update function. Recheck it before the final submission.
Forgetting an infant
Babies count as travellers and must be included in PNGDAC.
Copying declarations across everyone
One passenger may be carrying food, medication or declarable goods while the others are not.
Starting without all documents
Because progress cannot be saved, incomplete information can force the coordinator to start again.
Submitting too early
PNGDAC is intended for the 72-hour period before arrival, not weeks before the flight.
Assuming one old confirmation covers a re-entry
PNGDAC is valid for one arrival only. A new submission is required every time a traveller enters PNG.
Who needs a new submission?
One PNGDAC covers one expected arrival
Single entry
The FAQ states that PNGDAC is for one-time use on the expected arrival date shown in the submission.
Return trip
If the traveller leaves PNG and later comes back, submit a new PNGDAC for the new entry.
Latest valid version
If the same person submits more than once, ICA says the most recently updated valid information is considered.
