30-day Easy Visitor Permit

A passport-specific online route

The current 30-day Easy Visitor Permit is single entry and valid for 30 days from arrival. ICA states that paid work is prohibited and that an extension of stay is not permitted.

There is no Migration Service Fee for the permit itself; applications lodged through the eVisa portal attract a US$50 online lodgement fee.

60-day Easy Visitor Permit

A broader visitor eVisa passport list

The current 60-day Easy Visitor Permit is single entry and valid for 60 days from arrival. ICA says paid work is prohibited and that an extension may be permitted only in limited situations.

Like the 30-day route, there is no MSF for the permit itself, while portal applications attract the US$50 online lodgement fee.

A passport missing from the Easy Visitor lists still needs an appropriate Entry Permit route.

Correction to the draft: ICA's ABTC page says participating foreign cardholders receive an APEC Business Entry Permit; it is better described as a facilitated business-entry permit than as ordinary “visa-free tourism.”

The current general ICA guidance reviewed confirms passport validity but does not establish that blanket requirement for every visitor.

Return / onward travel

Evidence of departure is not a universal upload for every nationality

ICA's general FAQ says evidence of return travel may be requested in some circumstances. Certain visa classes expressly require a return airline ticket.

It is good travel practice to keep a confirmed onward or return itinerary available, but do not describe a paid ticket as a universal application upload for all nationalities unless the selected class requires it.

PNG citizens, permanent residents and all foreign nationals.

When?

ICA's August 2026 directive requires completion before boarding-pass issuance.
