What counts as exemption-style entry?
The ABTC route is the clearest example of entry without a separate visa application
ICA describes the APEC Business Travel Card as a business-travel facilitation system that gives accredited business travellers pre-cleared entry to participating APEC economies. For eligible foreign cardholders entering Papua New Guinea, the card and passport are examined at the border and an APEC Business Entry Permit is granted for business purposes.
ICA also states that the card removes the need to apply for an individual visa or Entry Permit each time the traveller enters a participating economy covered by the card.
